Stray or Feral Cat Support
Community Cat Advocates can assist with safely spaying or neutering your neighborhood stray and feral cats. We practice Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). TNR is the humane process to trap cats and take them to receive veterinary care, vaccinations and be neutered. Following their recovery these cats or kittens are adopted to families when possible or returned to their home colony. TNR has been practiced for decades and safely helps control the stray/feral population.

Current Colony

We are trapping a colony in Buckfield right now, the caretakers are being evicted and the neighbors have threatened to shoot these cats. This is an emergency situation. We have several other colonies we are working on but we are pausing them to save these cats. Please help us. We currently need bleach, trash bags, cat litter, and dry adult cat food. A huge shout out to our newest volunteer trapper Lisa for stepping up to get these guys to safety!!!
